Sustainability

Our daily goal is to provide the most impactful awards while being environmentally conscious and reducing our environmental footprint as much as possible.

Sustainably sourced woords used on wood awards

We use sustainably sourced woods.

Sustainably sourced wood minimizes the impact of logging on forests and the surrounding wildlife and communities. Sustainable wood also means that the timber is not a product of illegal logging that violates national and/or regional regulations protecting forests and the environment and promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests.

Eco-friendly recyclable acrylic to produce sustainable trophies

Our eco-acrylic is recyclable.

Our eco-acrylic is manufactured in North America, close to our production facility, which greatly reduces the transportation resources required for traditional sourcing from overseas. Our eco-acrylic is also recyclable, and we can provide customers with a source to send awards for recycling to be repurposed. Please email recycle@awardology.com for help with recycling your eco-acrylic award.

We are also moving towards using a bio-resin for all our casting and fabrication of our acrylics. At this time we are in the testing process and transitioning to using a bio-resin for all of our casting and fabrication of acrylics. This product is biocompatible and will break down when sent to the landfill. Bio-resin is processed and created in a responsible way while being ultimately chemically inert to humans and this planet.

The Sustainable Beauty of Glass Awards

Glass, a key material in our Awardology Now awards, embodies sustainability in several ways. It begins with its core component – sand, an abundant and renewable resource. Moreover, glass is 100% recyclable without any compromise in quality. This recycling process significantly diminishes energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

In alignment with our commitment to quality and the environment, we appreciate how glass is non-toxic and doesn't release harmful chemicals into the ecosystem. Furthermore, the durability of glass products allows for reuse, reducing waste and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Recyclable alumium used to fabricate sustainable awards

We use recyclable aluminum, and, whenever possible, recycled aluminum sourced from vendors with ISO 14001 certification.

We use recycled aluminum for all of our products whenever possible, and when it's possible for larger quantity projects, we work with vendors that are ISO 14001 certified. ISO 14001 certs give assurance that the aluminum manufacturing source isn't using virgin materials, utilizes renewables, and disposes of hazardous wastes responsibly.

Due to pandemic-related supply chain shortages, certified wood or aluminum may not be available for each project. We will strive to use those materials whenever possible. Any alternative wood and aluminum used for your awards will be recyclable, as well as locally and responsibly produced.

We use sustainable, eco-conscious packaging.

We are testing the latest technology in packing materials, including protective bags that dissolve in hot water and recycled tape for packaging.

With an eye toward making sure your awards are transported safely and arrive without any defect, we make every effort to use sustainable packing solutions whenever possible.
