Sustainabilty: An Ongoing Commitment

Awardology sustainable award

One of the core tenants of Awardology is a commitment to sustainable awards. We don’t believe that style needs to be sacrificed in order to produce awards that are conscious of our ecosystems and friendly to our planet. Our modern, minimalist designs are distinctive and unique, and the designs themselves stand on their own. However, when you add in the fact that these awards are built on a foundation of sustainability and fair and equitable business practices, you truly have awards that organizations are proud to present, and recipients are proud to receive.

We carefully chose the materials for all Awardology awards:

• We use sustainably sourced woods, which ensures that the forest is being responsibly harvested/managed in a way that preserves its natural ecosystem.

• We use recyclable aluminum, and, whenever possible, recycled aluminum sourced from vendors with ISO 14001 certification. This ensures that the aluminum manufacturing source doesn't use virgin materials, utilizes renewables, and disposes of hazardous wastes responsibly.

Locally manufactured and recyclable eco-acrylic, which greatly reduces the transportation resources required for traditional sourcing from overseas. For help with recycling your award, email us at info@awardology.com.

• We use sustainable packaging materials. We are testing the latest technology in packing materials, including protective bags that dissolve in hot water and recycled tape for packaging. With an eye toward making sure your awards are transported safely and arrive without any defect, we make every effort to use sustainable packing solutions whenever possible.

We're also committed to taking responsibility for the health of our planet by donating 1% of annual Awardology sales to environmental nonprofits creating positive environmental change. The donations are managed through 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses, individuals and nonprofit organizations tackling our planet's most pressing environmental issues. For more: 1% for the Planet

We promise to always keep an eye on new materials, tech, and methods to improve our products and packaging for the environment. This commitment applies throughout our product line.
